Janine Czerniecki, M.S., OTR/L, P.T.
Janine earned a Bachelor of Science in Rehabilitation, a combined degree in physical and occupational therapy, from the University of British Columbia (1978) and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington (1990). She is licensed as both an occupational and physical therapist in the state of Washington. Janine is also trained in Neuro-Developmental Therapy (NDT), NDT for Infants, and Sensory Integration Theory and Treatment. She has many years of experience in a variety of pediatric settings, including developmental centers, child psychiatry, and neonatal intensive care. Her areas of specialization include oral motor/feeding problems, medically fragile children, sensory processing disorders, and neurodevelopmental difficulties. Janine has been an owner at Cascade Children’s Therapy since it was formed in 1989. In her free time, Janine likes to travel with her family, hike, garden, and walk for miles with her dog Maya.

Vicki Schwartz, PT
Vicki graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Vermont in 1976. She has worked in a variety of pediatric settings since then. Vicki has been an owner/partner at Cascade Children’s Therapy since it began in 1989. Her areas of specialization are in the treatment of orthopedically impaired children, children with birth defects and children with sensory processing problems. She is especially interested in gait and has explored the use of various kinds of equipment and modalities to maximize the quality of a child’s walking pattern and movement ability, including neuromuscular electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping and the LiteGait system. She is trained in Neuro-Developmental Therapy (1987), Sensory Integration Theory and Treatment (1983), and Total Motion Release (2010). Outside of the work setting, Vicki enjoys hiking, traveling, and taking long walks with friends.
