Cleo Bloomquist, PT
Cleo received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado in 1978. She has worked with children of all ages with a variety of diagnoses, including prematurity, orthopedic limitations, developmental concerns, sensory processing disorders, and feeding difficulties. Her experience has included work in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, High Risk Infant Follow-up clinic, hospital based inpatient and outpatient settings, home-based and private clinic settings. She completed the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Basic course, and the Neuro-Developmental Treatment Infant course. Outside of work, Cleo supports her children's activities, teaches yoga, and loves to hike, garden and read.
Kathie Skog, OTR/L
Kathie joined Cascade Children’s Therapy in August of 2005. She received her Bachelor of Science in Community Health from Western Washington University (2002) where she focused on preventative health promotion for children. She received her Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington (2004). She has presented her masters project at the national American Occupational Therapy Conference and published an article about it in Occupational Therapy Practice – a national magazine. She is an active participant in the occupational therapy legislative committee, which monitors bills that impact occupational therapy services and lobbies for bills that assist therapists in better serving the community. Prior to becoming an OT, Kathie worked in a behavior management program for children with special needs who had extreme behavior challenges and as an applied behavioral
analyst (ABA) aide working with children with autism. Kathie has worked in pediatrics in a variety of settings including in-home therapy, community settings, in-patient rehabilitation, and several private clinics. Outside of work, Kathie enjoys rock-climbing, skiing, and traveling.
